That would be quite an interesting twist, considering Kouji Seo has never written a story with an arranged marriage (that I am aware of). Still, the way romances work, they follow a formula. The only one to break this mold (and I've read dozens) is Ichigo 100%. I guess what I'm trying to say is that no matter what happens in the story, I'm about 98% sure he will end up with Yuzuki. 🙄

Well then I'll root for that 2% in NanamiXHaruto, why? becuase these 2 have loved each other from the beginning. Nanami pushed Haruto away early on because of jeliousy between Eba and Haruto and Rin's flaming the "jeliousy fires" as well.

What did Eba come to Hiroshima for? To get Haruto to fall in love with her and get Nanami pissed with all of Eba's antics and as soon as that happens... "Oh by the way i'm going back to Tokyo".. EH 😕

Even Haruto admitted it such a hassle keeping long distance relationships. 🤢
Personally i think Haruto has a brain full of rocks, the guy is just plain stupid when thinking things out, He has no idea how girls think or feel at all.

Why is everybody rooting for Nanami?
What makes her better than Eba, what qualities does she have that makes her a better choice?
Honestly I find her annoying, pathetic and she's a complete bitch. When Haruto was so in love with her and chasing her she pushed and pushed and pushed him away. She behaved like a snooty bitch. But when Haruto is no longer interested in her and likes someone else she suddenly loves him uncontrollably

If it were me personally, I would go for Nanami. Having a girl physically next to you is way better than just hearing one over the phone in my opinion. That being said, this is your typical cookie cutter shounen romance, albeit from Kouji Seo, who apparently loves to throw his readers through hoops. It would really surprise me if it ended in anything other than HarutoXYuzuki.

On another note, when everything is said and done, I wonder how this will stack up to Suzuka (my personal all time favorite manga)?

Haruto is invading another family's problem that he has no business doing just because he has a "feeling" that something is wrong. 🤨 He should of just stayed with Nanami and wait for Eba to call.

Woah, Not just going to Tokyo but "transfering" as well. Such a shame the "feelings" he has now about Yuzuki wasn't this strong when he "first" loved Nanami those 3 yrs before Yuzuki came into the picture.

Alright Tokyo Arc here we come, Nice twist I honestly wasn't expecting this.

Just to put this out there as support to Eba fans, Its true Nanami and Haruto have liked each other for a very long time, but hasn't Eba also liked Haruto since they were kids? I mean really, she remembers when they first met like 8 years ago at that festival and she came back. I mean yeah sure her running away from home was the actual reason but she still came to see him after all those years. Anyhow I just thought it'd be fair for Eba to have a standing in the 'I've known you since forever' category.

For clarification purposes I'm not an Eba fan nor am I a Nanami fan as a matter of fact, I'm still rooting for Shiho Amagi. I hope she comes back soon, or atleast appear again hopefully.

Well, seems like this is going to turn into another Suzuka... Idiot guy who keeps going for the girl that he fell in love with at first sight, even though he keeps getting shot down by her, and keep ignoring every other cute girl who is in love with him.

The Tokyo arc will probably be that they meet, she starts liking him, then realizes that she can't go out with him for some reason. Then there'll be another girl who likes him, and they start going out, but he doesn't want to progress their relationship. If the mangaka will drag out this arc (which he probably will) then it's going to be like this all the time. If not, then they will realize that they really love each other, gets in bed, she gets pregnant etc etc (Suzuka) ending.

It really annoys me that the manga is starting to go in the same direction that Suzuka went, as if the mangaka has really ran out of ideas.

The idea of Tokyo arc really annoys me. Where is the point of "a town where you live". I love this manga not only because of the romance chemicals, but also theme of settings, a peaceful countryside. Pls Seou Kouji, don't turn this one into another Suzuka. Don't drag the plot and stay away from subways, supermarkets, arcade, crowded streets etc. etc. And don't let someone get pregnant so soon and has to give his/her dream up =))

This might seem kinda stupid but i think from the latest chapter(and from this topic also 😛 ) i have come to get 4 options for the letter :

1. Arrange marriage (Which is about to be broken by haruto-kun 😛 )
2. Raped ?!?
3. Blackmailed (T-T)
4. some other reason

I wud love to see option 4. coz somehow rape n blackmail these two options remind me of shoujo smuts. xD but option 4 might be a rare chance. According to latest chapter she is kind of person who holds everything inside. So i think it has to be big enough reason to push haruto away. I guess we have to wait for the next chapter to find out. but if i find something complicated i will just go on a break from reading it and wait till its complete. then read all together. All these tension/cliff hanger giving me high BP (blood pressure).

If he goes to Tokyo and finds that Eba wasn't lying...

...that would be the best plot twist ever.

Sorry SecretD.... not everyone wants Yuzuki shacked with Haruto. I still prefer Nanami and always will. Whether Seo will grant my wish is a different story all together 😀

As for options i think it is #4 ... meaning Yuzuki already proposed that very question to Haruto at the train station i think or at the Lake about " what if his feelings changed" and he went back to Nanami , All the while Haruto is telling Yuzuki that a long distance relationship WILL work only to see him holding hands with Nanami at the train station in Tokyo.

I think Yuzuki is bowing to the inevitable with all her feelings held inside saying to herself that indeed Haruto likes Nanami now??

Tokyo Arc is probly going to be a real "roller-coaster" ride for us readers 🤣
