I know a lot of you guys are talking about how the story gets a lot better after volume 3, but does the art improve as well or does it stay the same?

u can judge by urself, try to compare this [url]http://www.onemanga.com/Ghost_Sweeper_Mikami/1/04-05/[/url] (at the beginning) to this [url]http://www.onemanga.com/Ghost_Sweeper_Mikami/316/02-03/[/url] (one of the most recent chapters)
in short: yes it does improve by A LOT
