PHOBIA

Cynophobia. Fear of dogs. I was attacked by a stray dog a long time ago and that was the trigger.
I'm also afraid of insects, cats, worms, spiders, etc. Also I guess you can say I'm afraid of strangers as well and I have this thing where I get suffocated when I'm inside a small room. It's not that I'm really afraid, but the fact that there's limited space and there's not much you can do inside freaks me out. But yeah my fear for dogs is really bad.

Recently realized I have Social Anxiety:
fear of awkward situations.
It isn't severe, but it definitely gets in the way of some things.

Claustrophobia and Anthropophobia
These two, along with the unknown and the afternoon sunlight, almost made me charge out of a bus along with whoever was between me and the back door. If I was on the bus one more stop... I would have.
I also have a bit of the fear of heights, but it's not really that bad.

You didn't have the fear of closed or open spaces on it, so I voted for fear of Hell. I am afraid of heights, but that's lessened as of late. However, a fear of elevators has sprung to take its place. . . Or that could be because it's a moving closed space.
I do have a slight fear of the dark, but it runs more specific than that. Basically, fear of alien abduction and fear of being murdered while I sleep (don't judge me).

I don't see PHOBIA OF growing old and dying or (old age) 🤣
very common one.
Xenophobia, sounds pretty bad 🤣 NO travel for you!

I believe in letting people do as they wish, as do I myself. Sometimes, of course, what I wish to do is kill them and they do not wish to die. This gives life interest.

Of the items up there, I said fear of being infested with worms (or maggots). I don't particularly have a fear of that, but it creeps me out the most.
I thought about saying xenophobia, but I would mean it in the sense of aliens/extra-terrestrials, not foreigners/strangers.
If you've ever thought or said "Nice Guys finish last" and really meant it, then you should probably read this LJ post by DivaLion. It's incredibly insightful whether you're male or female.

Bump 😀
I saw a person searching for a manga featuring cannibalism in the forums today which immediately gave me the goosebumps. Every time I read or even hear about cannibalism, I start imagining monsters and beasts coming at me from all sides. It has given me several sleepless nights.
Remember the Andes plane crash of 1972? That gave and still gives me numerous nightmares. So did the flight from the cannibals scene in Pirates of the Carribean part 2.That's how deranged I get at the mention of cannibalism.
I also suffer from Ophidiophobia - the fear of snakes. I refuse to watch Discovery, National Geographic and Animal Planet because snakes tend to appear in them without any warning. I also take care to avoid seeing snakes in picture books, encyclopedias etc. Every time I see a snake on TV by mistake I rush out of the room, cover my eyes and squeal like a little girl. Surprisingly other reptiles don't bother me, and I am an expert at driving lizards and frogs out of my house 😎
Lately I have been trying to get over my phobias. But, it is proving to be very difficult. Now I am going to read some books featuring cannibalism that I found, and hope that they don't creep the hell outta me 😐
I guess it would be Acrophobia,
This thread was very well created in my opinion..

As far as I'm aware of, I'm not afraid of any of those options listed above, but I voted for Herpetophobia (fear of reptiles or creepy, crawly things) since some really creepy bugs do disturb me.
To be specific mine's Thanatophobia, or fear of death.
I'm afraid of the unknown and what happens after death.
I sometimes imagine that my soul would cease to exist or I'm in a dark hollow place with nothing to see or hear or even someone to talk to. Just mere emptiness that would drive my sanity. Give me chills all the time when I imagine this and I sometimes cry If I lose it.

The dark and dolls. >.< Both are the most horrific things in the world to me. Eugh.

When I said 'death' before 'dishonor', I meant alphabetically.
Imagine what would happen if there were no more hypothetical situations.

Mine would have to be fear of sharks (but I love water so it's not an extreme fear) but seeing as it isn't an option next comes......
I guess Hadephobia - Fear of hell. My grandmother has something over me when she starts talking about heaven & hell. Let's just say that she knows how to scare people when she talks about these things because she overly devoted and sounds very convincing. She's done it for years so it's hard to avoid.
Remembrance, a forsaken thing that revokes ignorance and leaves people in doubt, is my only redemption and solace deep within the cascade of white.

Heights would be the closest one. And I also don't like going to unfamiliar places alone. But these aren't really phobias. I mean I can still go to the rooftop and enjoy the view. I don't like it and I'm a little bit scared. But I can manage it.

I'm afraid of closed spaces, especially when I'm in elevators. I just feel sick and get a headache but if the elevator has glass wall or something to give an outside view, I feel okay.
But since this wasn't an option, I chose the fear of heights though it's not too extreme.
