IDK, they're providing a free service. It takes work to do scanlations and it's unpaid. Without their translations, it would just be another manga on this site that only those with access to raws or an official translation would be engaging with. That said, they can control their scans and work any way they want -- the point, to me, is that if they want to notify their closed group members, MU shouldn't be the venue (it looks like they're using Tumblr and their Discord for it anyway, so why even release it here...but I am just going in circles at this point with this question).

That said, Harudaki is the one with the exception -- it could just be the MU mods don't know this group is now closed. They've only had around ~15 releases since going private in Nov 2022, on quick glance. I would start a new topic since this one is likely not being looked at anymore since a mod answered earlier, re: the Harudaki question.

First time posting and just wanted to say that I agree with everyone's arguments, especially about Harudaki's releases. Not gonna list the many reasons this group's """scans""" shouldn't be on this site, since everyone already listed them. But admins and mods should stop trying to give special treatments to certain groups since this is most likely the case happening here. It's getting annoying to all the other users, what's the point of asking for improvements on this site if the admins and mods aren't gonna listen to us PLUS won't even explain why they are giving exceptions to certain groups (of course, at the end of the day, we all know very well why they are giving them exceptions, they just can't come up with a excuse to explain to us lmao)

Can't believe this is still a thing in this website. Just tried to find chapter 7.1 of Takara no Biidoro only to find out you have to donate money to read it. This site needs a way to flag a release as private/paid content asap.
