Are there any really good Kaiju manga?
*edit also while I am thinking of it they're is a completely unrelated manga I read ages ago and can't find again. I only read a few chapters. It had a younger guy go to an older guys funeral and end up with a little girl. The other family wouldn't take her and were kind of mean. He ends up raising her.

The manga sounds like Usagi Drop.
Sorry, can't help with any Kaiju manga. I know there are some Godzilla series out there, but I don't know if they were ever fully scanlated. There was also an American Godzilla comic put out by Marvel, but I don't know if that's something you'd be interested in.
[Edit] Just checked, and it looks like Godzilla was fully translated. Don't remember too much about it, but I did finish it and gave it a score of 8.
There's also Godzilla vs. Space Godzilla, but according to the site here, only 3 chapters were ever translated.
[Edit 2]Oh, and just remembered but there is also Super Dreadnought Girl 4946. Really good series that may fit what you're looking for.

Omg that's it. I've been looking for a while...should have asked sooner.
It's a shame there's not more giant monster manga. Ah well.

These don't exactly fit the specifications of kaiju, but they all do have giant monsters:
Gigantomakhia
Hito Kui
Hitoribocchi no Chikyuu Shinryaku (kind of a stretch)
Kiriwo Terrible
Q (Shihira Tatsuya)
And I guess Attack on Titan kind of fits? I mean, there are giant monsters, and they are destroying cities.
And, according to wikipedia, these are also kaiju manga:
Cloverfield
Hakaijuu
(though I haven't read them, so I have no idea if they're any good)

If what you're looking for is a giant organism destroying Tokyo, read Jacarandá.
