Best chapter in a long time.

The Stark-Kyoraku exchange was cool but uneventful. Seeing Barragan bring out a giant axe was pretty badass though.

But then it just got absolutely awesome. Halibel ups her sexiness to the point where she probably tops just about every other hot chick in Bleach and proceeds to rip that overhyped loser runt in two.

It couldn't get better than that. So glad they moved away from Ichigo finally.

Two things need to happen in the next couple chapters. The Chibi Captain needs to die and Soi Fon needs to release her Bankai already.

He deserved it, he's a little punk that is popular only because of fangirls. He's never really had a fight of any substance in the entire manga.

Alright I guess it was necessary for chibicaptain to get cut in two, otherwise help is never going to show up (and I want to see the Vizards already!!!!!)
But I still hope Chibicaptain will live. I just love his attitude 😀

Chibi-taichu is out of the game - at least i hope- and hopefully Ukitake is going to replace im.. Let's enjoy few good chapters for a change! 😀

Well that was interesting but I want to see the captains bankai's which should be coming out soon. Makes sense that chibi captain would be knocked out of the fight, after all we have seen all he can do.

Awesome, epic and amazing. This is why people are addicted to Bleach, it's because of moments like these.

Hallibels release is pretty damn awesome. it's intersting that so far the espada ranked 5 and above retain some sort of melee weapon after their release (not including yammy)

I don't really understand why people hate toshiro so much. He's the youngest person ever to reach bankai (not including Ichigo) and to beome a captain. In the SS arc instead of blindly following orders he tried to find out the truth. He stopped two vice-captains from murdering each other and fought on par with ichimaru (yes ichimaru was probably holding back but still the fight was pretty damn cool to watch). He immediately released his bankai upon learning that Aizen was the evil mastermind and was prepared to kill him, even though he didn't know about the whole hypnosis thing. He's also pretty mature for someone so young, more mature than some of the other captains.

Sure in HM arc he had a bit of trouble dealing with Shawlong and Luppi but he killed Shawlong immediately after his limit was released and he only got hit by Luppi once before he kicked his ass later on.

The only reason I'm not complaining about his fate in this battle is because Halibel is ranked number 3. Bankai normal hollow mask Ichigo couldn't even scratch Ulqiorra's first release.

Sorry for the rant. i just wanted to show some support and appreciation to Toshiro for taking on the no. 3 espada. It's a shame that he's pretty much dead.

So how many people have had their arms removed? Chad, Yammy, Grimmjow, Ulquiorra and now Toshiro (there might be more I can't remember). This trend is starting to get a little old, I reckon leg or head removal will be next.

Is that brat died for good ? Really ? I mean, he has just been cut half in two... I wonder what lame excuse Kubo will invent to justify his survival. It was a genjutsu, like Naruto ? I'm curious here...

Otherwise, good chapter and hurray, we will eventually discover Soi Fon's bankai in... I'd say... 11 weeks ?

Edit: Sorry, after rereading the chapter. I see that this poor Toushiro has just lost ONE ARM !? (I was hoping too much I guess) Come on Kubo this isn't even a scratch in shonen... and especially in Bleach 🤣
