Removing bloatware

I got a new laptop. Seems like many others here got new ones recently too.
I do a bit of gaming. Not a whole lot but I do enjoy having a computer that runs well, and I know that if I want my computer to run at its best, all that damn Windows 7 bloatware needs to go.
Which brings me to the topic of the thread. I did some searching and found several ways to go about it. However, I am unsure as to the best method. I think my options are:
- Reinstall the OS and the drivers
- Get this PC Decrapifier or CCleaner program thing
3)Manually get rid of all that stuff.
I'm more apt to use option 2 and not wanting to manually get rid of the stuff.
What I would like to know is the best method to go about. This forum is full of tech smart people
Thanks everyone!

The best is to reinstall the OS/drivers. It will give you a fresh baby smooth laptop 😉 . You need to download all drivers and back up license key (oem OS, so you cannot just use a retail disc) before reinstalling. First, what's your laptop? (brand/mdel)

Its a dell studio xps. Well, its more like about 6 months old.
I looked in the box and it looks like they gave me the drivers but not the OS

doing a fresh install of the OS will give you the best performance. i did that with my old laptop and it was noticeably faster
i bought a new laptop recently but just uninstalled the bloatware. it actually starts up slower than my old one

Ok. Reinstalling the OS it is.
So I need to back up all my data.
The hard drive will be completely empty right?
