The art style was calm, too. Something like Wandering Island but a bit sharper?
There was a couple of scenes focusing on the rooftops of the town. The girl was walking on them maybe?
The town might not have been entirely abandoned. But there was something specific about the girl meeting the visiting party, like she was the representative for an elder population or something like that?
Genre likely fantasy, mystery.
