Imo this ending was perfect, as good as it can get for the situation. If they had a happily-ever-after ending after she tried to murder 3 people then this wc would lose it's realistic aspects >>. I was satisfied by the ending, what about you?

I was, but i thought that it needed one more chapter to build up to the climax. I mean the whole series was tense up to that point had great tension, but was lacking it in the final moments. you know what i mean?

yes the ending is perfect
but i disagree with most interpretations of the last few panels
i think she wasnt awake, he just remembered the current situation they were in
the mangakas obviously put alot of effort into making the plot realistic; her waking up would have been too cheesy and out of proportion.

From what i think, she was in a coma but Eun Ho's special power let him meet her and be with her inside her mind which is why he thought that 'this is probably why i have this power'.

I too agree that the ending was perfect.
also found it pretty obvious that the girlfriend doesn't wake up in the end, but not sure how other people are interpreting it.
To me his smile at the end was that of a broken man, forced to face the reality of his situation.
The wedding that symbolizes change and happiness forces him to confront the fact that no matter what his ability allows him to do, it doesn't change the fact that his girlfriend is stuck in a coma, static and unchanging, not unlike the scene of the bench where they can revel a little bit in their love but can not move forward, forever stuck inside a memory.
Really powerful ending, that his broken smile could convey such heartbreak

"What A Long, Strange Trip It's Been." - outstanding Webcomic.

The Author obviously wants to leave the ending to the readers own imagination and preference to enhance the feeling and aftermath which reading this webcomic brings. Clever trick to further the satisfaction for a wider range of readers then they could have achieved by making the ending definite.

As for me I dont't really care if she woke up that day or it was just a sad, resigned smile from the protagonist. It's clear that at some point she will have to stand up or just die there, the first being the more likely. But as I stated above - It's up to you and that makes it great!

This end is just so good in many ways, is nothing new but for the reasons that others stated and for the way the author develop the last chapters, make this one of the smartest endings i'd read in a while...i leave this webtoon with a smile, very nice read!

So IMHO...
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
is like if he came in talking with her wife like a husband that come home from a long day at work, happily talking about his wed friend and...he see the room... then the so denied reality snap his face, seeing the truth of his life that he forgot for a moment, this seems like a bad joke that u can't help but say LOL... = )

I would also agree that the author left it to the readers for how to interpert the ending.....
Gotta agree that its nothing really new.........
I think she have woken up from her coma which made him to give that expressions.

Hmm...
For me this is a good ending...
I want to make my self believe that or I gonna feel empty for a few days...believe at the end when he open the door he saw her sit on the bed and watching him with a smile and teary eye...and he become quiet shock and then he know this is not a dream...the last smile he show us is the pure smile that full of happiness...why would the author use that smile for someone dead...^^

The ending is absolutely insane and one of my favourite endings that has ever been done. I always come back to read this because it's such a crazy work.

A protagonist with the power to penetrate people's mind? How to BETTER use such a power than allow him to stay in contact with his comatose lover? This is just an absolutely amazing idea and it takes sadism toward your protagonist to another level.
