Stars..
Since we have this:

I can actually still see quite a few of them. Just the other day I watched the golden globes and there were tons, none of them very bright though.
I can still see quite a few. Whenever I'm out late and I'm just at my front door, getting ready to unlock my door, sometimes I just look up and just stare at the stars.
I was surprised to see quite a few.
I always have this believed that if you live in a city you can't really see a lot because of all the artificial city lights.
Can you imagine? They are so far away, yet shine bright enough (and it's big enough) that you can see it so many light years away.

Surprisingly I can see stars in my town, in spite of it being one of the biggest industrial areas around. Back when I was younger my parents and I used to sit together at night star gazing. My dad and I would play this game of locating the Pole Star and constellations. Since neither of us had much of an interest in astronomy, we never confirmed our deductions. But it's definitely one of my best childhood memories.
Even now I often find myself on the terrace at my home at night doing nothing but watching the stars. Its oddly calming. Whenever I feel down for any reason the stars definitely keep me company.
How nostalgic! Thanks for making the thread 😀
