I'm searching for an old manga I read years ago, I think the girl is deaf/mute and she connected via radio/telephone/email(not sure) with a boy and a woman. The girl and the boy agree to meet but the boy end up passed away in the way to meet her. Turns out the woman is her future-self.

(((I think the author is the same author that make Watashitachi Shiawase Na Jikan but I'm not sure because I can't find any of her work like that)))

That is probably Kimi ni Shika Kikoenai, really great short series.

^ There's also two different adaptations of it. The other one is Kimi ni Shika Kikoenai (TSUZUKI Setsuri), so it could be either of these two you're thinking of.
