When I was 12, people always think that i was 18 ==''
Now that I'm 17, others think that I'm 20 or something like that. >:-(

I always seem to look a few years older then I am. Normally 2-3 years, but sometimes up to 5.
People never think I'm younger then I am, though.

I'm 18 and always get mistaken for a 14/15 year old. =__= It always pisses me off but there's not much I can do about that now. And the confusion has lessen somewhat.

Older. Every single time someone guesses my age, which I try to avoid.
Apparently not because I look wrinkled or whatever but because I radiate a certain seriousness (not my words).
It is a plus though, since I don't get pestered by drug dealers or thugs as much as other people. They tend to be polite 😀 (maybe that is because I am polite to them in the first place, but I rather not test this theory...)
And since I am in my early twenties now, my real age doesn't scare away older men anymore, which is a very good thing.

Older. This guy thought my baby brother was my son, and one of my friends thought I was 17 the first time she met me, 19 the second time she met me ( Probably had a memory problem =]). In school, this girl thought I was older, because I looked smart ~ didn't really make me happy to know I looked like a nerd >.<

I used to get younger a lot (still can, but not as often). People normally guessed me at 5-6 years younger depending, had 10 years younger guessed before as well (a girl I was taking classes with thought I was only a year or two older than her).

I think it's somewhat worked itself out, at least to the point where I rarely get carded when I buy wine these days. Most likely due to the gray I'm acquiring quickly through my hair.

I usually get mistaken for younger than I really am. I'm small, so people seem to equate that with young.
When I was younger I got away with eating on the kids menu and getting child's price tickets at the movies for much longer than I should have.
More recently, I've had truant officers harass me (trying to take me back to class), had my children mistaken as my siblings, and I'm carded each and every time I buy alcohol.

When I was younger, people did always think I was older (at just turned 12, strangers thought I was starting high school; in high school people thought I was in college, etc.) but I think a lot of that was due to being tall & quiet/serious.

Now, I have no idea what age people think I am - once you hit the mid-20s or so it really doesn't come up (unless you look a LOT older or younger, I guess). I think I look about my real age, but it will be interesting to see if all the white hairs I'm growing make me look older, or like I got an extreme highlighting job done on my hair~ 🤣

Yeah, people have been thinking im over 18 since I was 14. I never got carded in my life, and still look older than any one remotly near my age. At this point im not sure wether thats a good or bad thing.

People who look younger than their age
tend to have a longer life span.
Might have reverse effect on you. :\

Always. I get carded everywhere I go even though I'm over 21. My younger sister is 19 and when we stand together - people always say she looks way older. I say, it's cuz she's a smoker >:c

There will be a time when you'll actually be
glad that you look younger.
