First - your not supposed to double post.

Secondly - Naruto Fan doesn't force anyone to pay to download the manga, at least. They do that for the anime, but speaking from a business perpective its perfectly ok for them to do that. You have to pay to access their anime server, which is fair, but stupid. You can find almost all the anime they offer for free elsewhere online.

Narutofan just profits off of the people that are too stupid or too lazy to look elsewhere online. So I don't have a big problem with those mooks, they are certainly within their rights to charge people to access their anime servers.

I still don't like em.

No, 'cause they don't have any rights on the works they make people pay for.

People aren't paying for the anime, they are paying for the use of a server dedicated to streaming/dling anime... subtle difference. It's like with dl sites we will let you dl for free with crap speeds or you can pay and get high speeds all the time..

well the problem is narutofan will bring heat to this comunity sooner or later. We surely don't want FBI or Cops catch every scanlators because of copyright issues. Well what scanlators do are illegal, but without big money involved less likely the publisher company gonna be interested to sue them.
With money uninvolved, then less likely we are in the highlight. Then this community will thrive more without interference of the law. And surely if the publisher company are pissed, they will bring this problem into the highlight and in the end no more manga for u guys. Think about it.
Well if u want to bring them down, just tell about narutofan to the publishers and tell them that they get a lot of money. That would surely bring them down, but in the end that move will bring heat to this comunity. Thats why no one report it to the publishers yet.

Leave Narutofan alone and let others pay who cares. As long as you yourself knows how to find the same stuff free, why care about narutofan? I don't see a reason to shut it down since it does not bother me and a lot of other people in any way.

They're responsible for what they put there. If they put illegal stuff they're punishable. Pirate Bay has been closed because they had torrents of copyrighted stuff even if they disclaimed that they were not responsible for the contents.
And for the rest, bakaliner already said all.

If thats the case then everyone else who scantalates is putting illegal stuff on their website. I'm failing to see your point
