bbcode buttons problem..

back then if i want to use the bbcode button(s) i can do it this way: highlight the word/line then just simply press the button(s) and the bbcode appear at the beginning and the end of the highlighted word/line.
i can not do this anymore. every time i try to, the entire word/line is replaced by the bbcode.. why is that?
actually this problem started very long ago... it didn't bother me that much... it's just not helpful sometimes (ex in a situation when i write a list of manga titles and gonna put the manga bbcode for each of them)
oh and i'm using opera since.... ever.. and i don't think something is wrong with my java

Seconded.
I use Opera as well and it used to work fine. It just stopped one day :\
The feature works on other forums I go on as well - just not this one.

I'm using Firefox and it does the same thing. Maybe it was a deliberate change?
We really do need a more convenient way to put stuff in bbcode tags. Like you say, when writing lists of manga and you want to link them, it's really tedious having to put [m][/m] tags around every one.

I just learned from one of those "introduce yourself" threads that a shorter way to link to manga is to just use brackets like this: [insert name of manga here] 😀

Oh God, this. I want this so bad for Mozilla. 😢
It's such a pain, especially since you also have to move your 'mouser' back each time because it automatically only adds the BBCode tags at the bottom of the paragraph instead of where you actually want it used (which is really annoying when you're writing a lot).

Really?! I had no idea you could do that! And I've been here for ages! ashamed OTL xD
