I am also noticing the series image occasionally doesn't load when I am actively browsing the site (not just restoring a session). It happens often enough to stand out (don't recall it doing that before).

Is it a broken image or simply doesn't load? When you right click can you click "Load Image"? Would it be possible for you to enable your developer tools (F12, if you're on PC/Mac) and let me know if there's anything in the network log the next time it happens?

as someone that also uses this feature, i would also like to know if this is a bug or an intended change

and if it was an intended change, why? it may have had limited use, but was incredibly useful for what it did.
now i have to scrape from the html page instead which is far from ideal
worse for both the host and myself (host has to send more data to me, and i have to receive more data)

This just happened, but images stopped loading. They were working a few hours ago. I tried another browser and had same problem.

I tried opening the image to its own tab and got 404 error.

Thank you, we did a site migration and I made a mistake. I just fixed it.

I've noticed certain older series (that already have entries on the database) don't appear in the search under the Series Info tab (but you can see there series in the Releases section), for example that happened with Busou Renkin. It doesn't appear in the Publisher/Shueisha list even.

That was really strange .. I couldn't find the record in elastic. I ran a re-index and it seems to work now. Thanks for letting me know.

Not sure if anyone else has already reported this, but when looking at my reading list, series with unread chapters don't show the chapter number in red in parenthesis next to the name anymore.

Mine still does.. can you check your list options and make sure it has the show latest chapter options selected?

Can you also let me know what series aren't working?

I am experiencing this problem as well, I was wondering why none of the series I follow have been updated for over a day. Series that have been updated but no longer show red parentheses can be found directly under those that still have said parentheses.

The last series that updated with parenthesis for me is A Story About a Lone Girl Who's Not Good with Gyarus.

A few series that are refusing to update parentheses (I am behind 1 chapter on all of these):
Boroboro no Elf-san o shiawaseni suru kusuri uri-san
Shotgun Boy
The Double Agent
Choujin X
