;/ I preferred previous version, so I could filter out a group that is only sniping other groups or just translating old chapters
Is there a way to disable this bypass feature?

Hi EmEm. I understand your frustration, and honestly, your use case makes a bit more sense. I'll take it under consideration.

Hi, Manick. Should the publisher's name be given next to the magazine's name? Based on my observations, it turns out that the total series in a magazine doesn't increase if we don't do it (judging by the publisher's page). I don't know how this worked before, because from the start I've followed the practice of “title A(publisher B)” like everyone else so it's fine. But the problem is me--and other mods probably, have allowed some entries with just the magazine name. I didn't pay much attention to it because I thought it would be automatically added.

Is it just a caching issue? Does it eventually update after like an hour?

I'm pretty sure it's not a caching issue? I added a bunch of entries yesterday and I can see it will add up after a few minutes.
Uhh, let me elaborate to make my point clear. If my memory serves me right, someone once reported this.
If I do this, it works:
Onnanoko no Himitsu (Shu-Cream)
Left is the series name, the right is the publisher.
Example:
Sono Wanko, Toriatsukai Chuui ni Tsuki
Okay, I just need to wait right? Later we see from the publisher's page:
Shu-Cream
There are publications "Onnanoko no Himitsu" along with the numbers, right? Case solved.
But if I just fill in the magazine column like this:
Manhwakyung
Without the publisher name.
It doesn't add up. Even if I wait a few hours, the publications don't show up.
Example:
At the End of the Sea There Were Always Those Children
So that's why I asked at the beginning if we should put the publisher's name next to the magazine. Because many users are used to adding entries without it. From my own case, I have to manually fill in for them if they don't add the publisher name so it's recorded in the right place where these series belong.

Adding a series title that is already used by an existing entry no longer gives out a descriptive error message like before. So, if you have added some associated names to a series submission, there is no way to easily know which name string is already in use.
[Error: Exception adding series: The series title is already taken]
Note: the series title string is not printed out.
Failing to add a series does not keep the previous form entry like before after pressing the back button. So, if the series submission fails in some way, you will have to start all over again.

Hi recon21, are you using Firefox? I've had reports of others having similar issues with form fields being removed with that browser.
Edit: That series title error means that the specific series title (not associated name) is already taken. I've updated the error to print it out so it's more obvious.

EmEm, I've changed it back to the way it worked before. Blocked groups will be completely blocked, even if an item is on your reading list.

Yup, I'm using Firefox. No extensions enabled except for Stylus (custom css).

Thanks for the fix! I just tested it out and it's perfect.

I modified the way it works ... hopefully better now. Once the cache expires, let me know (30 min or so).

I haven't checked it yet, but ok.
But, Manick, I have another issue to report.
I can't access to admin dashboard.
"A system error has occurred. Please try again later. If this continues to happen, please notify an administrator."

are the activity stats borked? i ask because looking at the "Series Stats" page, the current results seem unintuitive.
for example, if i select the "Six Month" option, "I Need a Bride" is currently ranked #12.
this series has:
- no releases listed
- a few categories with no votes
- 1 rating
- fairly low list stats?
a random series i selected from the recent releases page has more activity in all visible metrics but has a much lower rank.
sorry if this is a known issue. if it's not, i don't know when it appeared—i check series stats only occasionally.

I just checked that series against Google Analytics, and it appears it does get the views ... usually once a week it will get a spike, and then tapers off till next week.
March 2, March 9, March 16, March 23, March 30 are the most recent.
I think someone is linking here and we get quite a bit of hits when there's a new chapter for each.
Edit: Most hits for that page are direct from Google.
