Btw i’m not sure if it’s a conscious decision on your part to disable the automatic sorting of each series page’s alternative names in alphabetical order (the names are now listed in the order of the dates they were added in i believe) or if that’s a bug.. 🤔 either way i think it’s better to change it back to alphabetical order, otherwise it could look very messy and difficult to navigate for all series that have a ton of different names, for eg:

There's no specific it happens with all the series I edited and I even tested on others, when adding a category it says removes and then shows all categories listed

Then when removing a category and clicking update it says error even thought the update went through

Ah, I see the confusion. The way it works is it shows the old version of that field (which is a list of the categories that were there before you added or removed one). Perhaps it's not that useful for categories?

Chapter counter bug does not update in real time if you press +10/-5 you have to refresh the page to see the changes made.

Multiple people have reported this, but I can't seem to reproduce it. Once you refresh the page, does it work after that, or do you have additional issues?

Oh I see, I was very confused by it😅 it would be better if it showed what categories were added then at the bottom of that it will show what was previous instead of just only showing the previous

Similar to how the description edit is shown

Because sometimes some categories are wrongly tagged so it be better to see what is also added instead of just seeing the old field since many series have alot of categories

Aah, sorry for being too ambiguous. I'm a little confused but I'll try to break it down. Bear with me.

I'll leave a note here for the terms I used:
*Release page = page where all users can see updated chapters
*Series history log (front) = the front page where usually the latest chapter can be seen when the user clicks on a series
*Series history log (end) = back page to see details of the date, chapter, and list of scans of the group that worked on it

So I reported that I couldn't approve a user release and the timing was wrong (52 years ago). This is one of the manga:

It's an old release, it can show up on the series history log (front) even if the timing is still wrong (I remember that being about 30 minutes ago when it’s actually hours ago since my last report). But this batch of old releases still doesn't appear on the releases page.

On the other hand, for new releases, it can appear on the release page but it doesn't appear on the series history log (front), just on the series history log (end). This is one of the manga:

As per I wrote this reply, it didn’t show up immediately. So it's like there is a pause, different from the past where everything is evenly distributed. Another example of this:

You can see all of this fixed, but I noted the "gap" that occurred when I approved it.

Conclusion: All new releases can appear in the series history log (end), scans group page, and release page, but not immediately in the series history log (front).

Also, I found other issues with the release display when I searched, for example Ippo. This is what happened:
