We recently interviewed inXile founder and Fallout developer Brian Fargo about his plan to bring back the Wasteland franchise via Kickstarter. His plan is to raise enough money to make an isometric adventure, akin to the original, without any of the compromises developers often have to make when they're beholden to a publisher.
inXile is still working out all the details for the Kickstarter project, but have recently put out potential rewards for different monetary contributions. Ranging from a digital version of the game via Steam to a party with the designers, a shrine of you in-game and more, the proposed rewards are up for discussion on the game's official forums.
