Once again driving myself nuts and need help remembering the name of a series...but this time it's just flat out embarrassing because it's a manga that literally changed my life. -.-

It's a Shounen ai (possibly yaoi) that follows two boys from elementary school all the way through their lives. They both play soccer together and that becomes like a major motif for the whole thing. I don't want to give away a ton of plot details because everyone in the world should read this Manga, even if you don't like Shounen ai, so here comes a spoiler tag...

the two end up parting ways for a while, one gets married and has a kid but his wife dies or something. They end up reconnecting and raise the child together. The kid thinks he might be gay for a bit, but then figures out it was just a super intimate friendship and ends up getting married and having a kid of his own. (But the friend he thought he was in love with is gay and sticks around but stays single) The series ends with the two of them growing old and dying together in the single most beautiful and emotional scene that I have ever experienced in a manga and I think honestly maybe I can't remember the name because I am blocking it out from how much intensity of feels it gave me. XD

Does this ridiculously specific break down of the plot ring any bells for anyone? -.- I seriously don't know how I can always remember so much about the story but never find what I'm looking for or have even the slightest clue about the title....help me please. T.T

I remember skimming through the last chapter of this manga and it sounded somewhat familiar.
I haven't read it myself so I'm not sure if it's the one - Complex (Manda Ringo). 🙂
