KYO is the best!
I liked him since the beginning. Then he matures and turnes out to be so sweet. I just love the ToruxKyo pairing.

To be fair, Kyo does mellow a lot over the course of the manga.
Besides, Haru has a violent side, too. =)

^ I have to agree. He mellows out a lot actually. I recall Kisa had always been afraid of him, but by the end he had softened up enough to where she could greet him without cowering in fear.
I like Yuki too, but I just prefer Kyo overall. I think the first time it hit me was when he was in the beginning when he was trying desperately to apologize to Tohru for breaking the roof, haha.

Personality-wise, I still like Kyo, but Hatsuharu and Hatori are really really close runner-ups, so I hear ya there, Mai. The thing is, going on personality alone and not couplings, I do prefer Kyo's slightly-tsundere character, though I was relieved to find out that he had evolved into so much more. I think that it was very clever of Natsuki Takaya to occasionally give us the POV of each character, so that we can see how much Kyo cares about the people he loves (Kazuma, Kagura, his mother, Tohru.) and the different dimensions of those feelings.
I think the thing that truly redeemed Kyo (and made him human and likeable) for me is his love for his pseudo-dad Kazuma, how he was so hurt over the way his mother treated him, and how he treated
the break up with Kagura. I remembered being in tears when the chapter came out, lol. There were others, but these are the most memorable at the moment.
Going on couplings, I would have to say HatsuharuxRin is my favorite. Second being, HatoriXMayu-sensei.

i would choose Yuki (i´m weak against the cold type), but i prefer Momiji-kun all the way. He can even speak my language^^

From the start to the end i rooted for Kyo, and seriously it's one of those few mangas where i doubted about the end 😛
Kyo is the best since he never seem so perfect as Yuki and always draw attention naturally.
