I'm not Japanese, but I do understand Japanese to a certain level. Mostly learned from animes and mangas though... = =;;
Like I said, TEMP! Meaning if you have no one else or could just do with one more dropping by every now and then. I don't think I'll ever be able to complete the whole thing myself...
What I CAN do:
Translate : Japanese to English
Translate : Chinese to English (rather... this is my native language... but for some reason it's harder to translate... = =)
Cleaning : No experience, but I have Photoshop, and have a decent knowledge of it. Of course, decent, nothing more.
Typesetting : No experience here either, but it seemed like it's easier for me to just go ahead and type the translations on instead a separate file so far.
What I CAN'T (and won't) do:
Kanji with no furigana - what I know is CHINESE! Not kanji ><. Yea, knowing Chinese gives me more ore less understanding of kanji but in the end it's two different languages.
Simplified Chinese - I'm Taiwanese. AKA Chinese. I have my decent amount of animosity for People's Republic of China (and why is the name so long!?)
Yaoi - Shounen-ai is fine, so is yuri and shoujo-ai. But nothing that gives away the bottom half of the male's body.
Ecchi - me FEMALE! No perverts please! Out out OUT!
School-life shoujos - Damn boring. Sorry!
Anyone willing to take me? Please reply in THIS thread.
I'm willing to do test pages, but honestly, don't make me THE translator... just like, makeshift or something. I'm bored and want experience, with lack of endurance. Don't expect anything!
Also... I don't have experience in official scanlation groups and stuff... but I have done a lil bit on my own, as fan based stuff. 9 Banme of Musashi. Lemme know if anyone wanna see it.

I have some Japanese projects that need translation, Higaeri Quest, Sorairo Kaigan, and Ninku. ^^
Well I did a Google search on what furigana is, and I'm pretty sure all 3 of them have furigana, but not sure..

Hello! I'm from Polyphonic Story (novel translation group) and we're in need to Chinese to English translators for Twenty-One Nights Rose : Geminate Flower (I'm not sure if the text is in Simplified Chinese or not, but I think this book is from Taiwan...? Sorry if I'm wrong OTL). It's alright if you only want to translate a chapter or two, we'll be very thankful if you translated anything!

Furigana is the hiragana pronunciation beside the kanji. And yes, all three of them have it. Sorry for the late reply btw.
I'm willing to help for Higaeri Quest. As I mentioned, I dunno how much I'll get done and how long I'll stay but it seems interesting! I assume you'll still take me? =3

I have access to all 7 volumes of Higaeri Quest; about 8 chapters per volume, so about 56, -2 which were already scanlated, so 54 unscanlated chapters in total. 🙂

Hello,
I'm kinda late to the thread, but I just saw it and I have 1 chapter that needs translation. It's in Chinese (don't know if it's simplified or not though). The series is Koi ni Nare! and the chapter has 32 pages. I'm not too worried on time, since this is a slow work in progress, so you wouldn't have to worry about that. The genre says yaoi, but since it's the first chapter, it's very pg, just the second page has who I assume is the main character checking something on his phone that can be considered pg-13.
Anyway, if you want to see what I'm talking about, PM me so I can direct you to the chapter.
