Housework

I'm doing a survey for a class which compares women vs men's view on housework. Please answer the poll and explain what kind of housework you do or if you don't do it and why. Thanks for the help!

I do all the housework because if I don't, nobody will 🙂 But I picked the "sometimes" answer, because I'm not an extremely clean person.
I do the dishes, laundry like folding and hanging them, sweep the house, clean after my younger brothers clothes/etc, and making lunch or dinner (I do the dishes/laundry the old fashioned way..hehheh)
I do it to help my parents out when their really busy..
oh I'm female btw and I don't do it all them time so the 'sometimes' option
they don't allow my younger brother to do any chores (except clean after his own clothes/books/games/toys/etc)because they believe that a man shouldn't do such 'womanly' things
when I ask him to do the dishes when I'm really busy, he does do them with no complaints but, in exchange I get in trouble with my parents. 🤣
my 'view' on it is that anyone should do it. I don't mind if the female or male does all the work as long as the other person helps out when someone asks them too.

I hear you say "Why?" Always "Why?" You see things; and you say "Why?" But I dream things that never were; and I say "Why not?"

I'm a female, and I always am doing some kind of house work. Only because my parents make me, not from my choosing. But my main 'duty' is just doing the dishes, so it's not that bad~ lol

No I don't do much housework. The only thing I have to do is make sure my bedroom is fine. My bedroom is my responsibility.
I can't cook to save my life, so I don't help in that department, unless my dad needs some help in chopping things up, in which case there I can help 🤣
Sometimes I'll empty the dishwasher, but it's not like a set chore. I just do it to be helpful or because there are no clean cups and I want a cup of tea.
So I rarely do housework. I'll help my mum out when she needs it though. She knows that all she has to do is ask me and I'll be there, but she handles it well on her own and hardly ever asks for my help.

I'm a girl, and I do all the housework. (Somehow this sentence doesn't feel right 🙁 )
I live alone so nobody will do them for me, but I'm a relatively clean person so I don't feel like I do much more compared to when I was living with my mom.
My dream is to meet an invisible being that loves cleaning, especially my place when I'm not around.
Well... I'm still in high school so I live with my parents... and all I do is my own laundry... and put up dishes from the dishwasher. Yup.

I'm living with my two younger brothers and my mother (who rarely is home) and I get to do all the housework.
I'm not a particularly clean person but if I don't keep the apartment (aside from my brothers bedrooms) tidy, it'll be a mess within a day. 😉
No one gets to taste my cooking aside from myself though.
Female, often do housework. Usually on weekdays, I would just wash the dishes and clean around the house. On Sundays, however, which is my day to clean up, I would do pretty much everything. Wash dishes, laundry, clean toilet, vaccum and take out the trash. Oh, but never cooking, that's my mom's job, she MAKES THE SANDWICH.

I think I clean my room once in 4 months. Since I'm sharing it with my brother who is even messier than I am, I don't want to be the only one to do the cleaning. But there come times when there is no space to step on in the room so I have to do something about it.
As for the other things, I sometimes wash the dishes. Well "sometimes" is a bit too much. The weird thing is that I enjoy the process of washing them but I hate the thought of starting to wash them. That is why I do it so rarely.
Maybe when I'll be older and have my own place I'll become more of a housekeeper. Right now since I'm still living with my parents I rely on my mother to do everything (me, my brother & my father are lazy bums when it comes to doing house chores).

at parents house: did clean my room, my bathroom, help kitchen (cooking+cleaning once a while), sweep the house.
My apt: do everything. I'm not anal clean as in there is dust here and there, but i'm not one to throw things around or have a pile of clothes on the ground (i might have a load in the laundry bin though ;-)
The only two place that could be really messy are the kitchen sink (no more gathering in my apt lol) and the desk (billls, bills, and more bills, newspaper, magz..the only thing that disappears instantly is my paycheck 😉 )

Female. Sometimes. ♥
Washing dishes, mopping, folding laundry, wiping/dusting.
That's about it, I can't really cook. 😛

Female, and I do a lot. I don't wash dishes much anymore, because my little brothers are in charge of that now, but I cook most nights, clean some, and do most of the laundry.
My room suffers from clutter, dust, and (like the rest of the house) mice, but it's usually safe to walk across the floor.
There's a lot of housework in a house of six people, so it's always been divided among us kids, but we're growing up and roles are shifting......
They say it's the thought that counts, but then they tell you, "The road to hell is paved with good intentions......"

I'm a female and I live on my own so I am responsible for taking care of all the household chores. I feel like I'm constantly doing dishes and laundry. And I buy all the groceries and make all my own meals at home too. Sometimes things start to get cluttered because I get too tired to do anything, but then I spend the whole day cleaning. Really being an adult means more work....-_-
