I want to help the manga community by editing some of the manga. I've never edited before, but I would like to try and gain some experience in the field of editing. I use the program GIMP so most likely it won't have the best results like the photoshop program. So if there is a group that wouldn't mind having me as an editor or it there is someone who uses GIMP and would like to train me then either post a reply or pm me or send an email to Blueroseclogger@aol.com. Or if you would like a sig to be made I could make one just tell me what you want on it and I'll make one for you (this is the reason I have GIMP).

I will only be able to work on editing the scans on the weekends, because my teachers will pile me up with homework. I thought that I should give some warning. Please don't let this have a huge effect on whether or not you want me as an editor. I just want to help make manga lovers happy.

Does anyone know how I can add the fonts to my GIMP progaram. I have them downloaded I just need to find a way to put them on my program.

To add the fonts just go to your Windows folder in there should be the folder named Fonts. Extract the files not including pictures and notepads and move them to this. With this every program you have GIMP, Photoshop, Word, ... should have those fonts.

Thanks Wocscans! I now have those fonts on my GIMP program. I don't need photoshop because GIMP is a good program and I know how to do all of the editing on it. I've been practicing a bit. I'm still an amateur, but I'm truely not that bad.
