That's a shame... Though to be honest, I sorta lot interest in the novels after Mother's Rosario (vol 7 I think)

As for Log Horizon. I wouldn't say its better because comparing them (and .hack) is like comparing apples to oranges (to grapes). All great but each tickle someone else's fancy more than the others.

Personally I like LH more because of the MC. I love me some masterminds.
