Why do I get the feeling that the real reason he turned evil wasn't because of a tragedy, but rather because those two wouldn't shut up about not having to go to the bathroom?

To be honest, I don't think Rin is dead.
Maybe there is another twist to this Rin, Kakashi, Obito story that we haven't accounted for ...yet. 😐

or the reason Rin died was because something Madara set in motion. Which at this point is highly likely as he appears to be the cause of all this bad things that have happened since the last great ninja war. Hell, he probably helped cause that too.

I kinda feel sorry for Madara in this chapter, he just looked so old and hopeless. I wonder who he gave his eyes too? I really hope the author shed some light on every aspect, like how Nagato got his eyes and so on.

Nagato's eyes are probably from Madara. It may be the first of the Tobi-Obito plot holes to be satisfactorily explained (if it turns out to be the case). Tobi claimed to have given them to Pain in the presence of Konan, who still believed that Tobi was Madara. Granted, no one seemed to know that Madara had Rinnegan until long after that, but it at least helps a little with the major timeline problems, since all three people had the majority of their story play out during a different Great Ninja War.

Also, the guy with the arm of sharingan eyes was Danzo, and his very first eye came long after this... all dozen or so of his eyes come from the Itachi slaughter, since his first one came from Shisui only days before that.
