Very informative historical manga

Hi everyone!
I'm looking for an historical manga very rich in details about the culture of the time, e.g. hunting, use of herbs, ancient medicine...
If possible, I'd like it to be targeted towards adults.
Good examples would be Golden Kamui or Otoyomegatari.
Thank you in advance! 😀

Well, there's Shoukoku no Altair, but it mostly focuses on Ottoman era politics and power plays, not on culture or religion. Ditto for Ad Astra - Scipio to Hannibal with ancient Rome and Innocent (SAKAMOTO Shinichi) with the French Revolution.
Cesare is a good one for Renaissance Italy, but scanlations have halted and even publication seems to be up in the air.

A few more:
Thermae Romae - Roman bath culture. A weird premise, but this series was pretty popular in its way.
The Ravages of Time, Sangokushi - Three Kingdoms Period
Historie - Ancient Greece
Vinland Saga - Vikings
Hyougemono - Sengoku era
Now that I think about it, except for Thermae Romae, all of my other recs are heavily politics/war-focused, though the cultural/religious depictions in them are fairly accurate afaik. Hopefully you'll still enjoy them!
