Wow. Just wow. It sucks to be Nagato. I was really rooting for him here. I hoped that he and Naruto could talk without trying to kill each other. Sigh. It didn't happen. Everytime they meet Nagato tries to kill him but winds up suiciding.

Can't really blame him, seeing how Kabuto was controlling him the entire time. But luckily Nagato didn't commit suicide this time. Itachi stabbed him with that Sword of Totsuka so that Kabuto couldn't control him anymore.

And is it just me, or is Kishimoto being a bit self-aware in the last panel of the chapter by having Nagato tell Naruto "The 3rd part is here! Be so stellar that everybody forgets how horrible the 2nd part was!"

wow, naruto's stupidity never seizes to amaze me. this proves that nagato pretty much lost on purpose to him. gosh, the author makes it hard for me to have a spec of respect for the lame character that naruto is...but ITACHI is a beast, sad he had to die, one of my favorites. RIP to nagato also, another madara pawn wasted

That was pretty epic lolz. Atleast he admits it. Whether it was intentional or not is still questionable.

(There were some strange bits of unintentional(?) humor in this chapter, especially with how dumb Naruto was acting--like when Nagato was chocking him and Naruto responded by asking for ninja tips...)

Truthfully, I was also rooting for Nagato here. If Itachi gets to stick around to redeem himself, then it would have been cool if Nagato did too. It was rather sad that he called himself an utter failure in his last words. Still, at full power, the guy was a beast. It took the three most powerful characters in the entire series to take him down; ya gotta respect that.
