I remember a thread about aggressive girls in school but this one is on vandalism in general.

I noticed in mangas that if one person has a problem with a group of people or even just one person, vandalism is the way to go. Vandalism, in a way that can't be fixed easily like spray paint or cutting and tearing materials.

How is vandalism at your school?

We have tons and I mean, TONS of people drawing on desks (myself included) but with pencil. Sometimes it might be in pen but mostly the marks will be made in pencil, something erasable. I've never seen cases where people would destroy another's property. Are Japanese people that angry? And most of the time it's over something petty. <___<
I thought Asians were suppose to be passive (Was this statement slightly discriminatory? It's okay. I'm Asian too if that helps).

last time we had a group of students calling themselves 'Penis crew' and they would draw penises in permanent marker everywhere in the school.

Drawing on desks was kind of normal in my school, of course it wasn't with pencil. Things like broken door, tap or shower weren't anything special, sometimes it was accident but not always. One time some people have fun with an extinguisher and one floor was totally covered with this white stuff (foam or something). Kind of funny :> Also another time this basketball board was totally smashed but I believe it was accident (a friend of mine did it but she is so tiny that it couln't have been on purpose).

The second primary school I went to as a kid used to have a window smashed practically every week. Wasn't surprising, considering it was situated in front of an estate of government houses...

We've had a couple big incidents. Like a boy (not once, but THREE times) smeared poop all over the walls in the boy's bathroom, and peed everywhere. Another time someone colored all over the white boards in sharpie. XD I really didn't mind, but of course, after these incidents new rules were enforced.

Other then those, we have the regular stuff, like the drawing with pens/sharpie/etc. all over the bathroom stalls/desks.

Doesn't happen at my school much. We have cameras and at least two police officers on campus during school hours, and one policeman at night. But other than that, the area that I live in and the area the school is located is pretty safe, even though our school is HUGE. I think my class has about 800 or so people... There isn't much crime that goes on where I live. And not much vandalism at school either.
The only major thing is people sticking gum everywhere... 🤢

Yeah, lots of drawing on desks, mostly pencil but sometimes pen, & some writing in the bathroom stalls. One year a kid blew up a toilet with an M-80, but that was an exception, not a usual thing.

Lots of drawing on desks, walls; done mostly by pen and spray. There are some exceptions, like the guy sitting next to me; he's a fan of Nurarihyon no Mago, and he uses Chinese ink. 🙂
We have everything painted by the beginning of each year, but after a month, things go back to normal.

None, really. My school's in great condition. But there is this small, unused snack-price board in the cafeteria that no one payed attention to. Everyday from our lunch table we noticed that it had some of the letters rearranged into something profane (but funny).

I went to a private high school... None of the kids would even bother vandalizing... And if there was, you probably won't see it to the next day.
And then university comes along and seems like most students are too mature to be vandalizing things now. And I'm sure the univ would erase them too. Minor scratches on desk and stuff tho. Few gums. >.< Furniture would be destroyed by age before it's destroyed by vandalism.

At my 1st school:
Drawing on table using pencil or liquid.
Drawing on toilet wall using marker pen.
Drawing on school bus stop.

And at my all girls school, no vandalisms at all.....

Scribbling on walls or desks was a norm in all my schools 🙂 And usually not in pencil. But people usually wrote and drew really funny things, not just penises 😉 In a chemistry classroom there was a huge pillar and there were always some things written on it - like conversations ("I hate chemistry, it's so boring..." "Yeah, you're right..."), teachers' caricatures (funny, not mean) and trains ("If you are bored, draw another carriage!"). Teachers didn't care about these drawings and the pillar was painted every few months (then, of course, covered with scribbles again). But is it really vandalism?

Like a boy (not once, but THREE times) smeared poop all over the walls in the boy's bathroom, and peed everywhere.

That reminds me of what a boy in my school once did. In boys' bathroom there were lamps with lampshades screwed to the ceiling. The boy unscrewed one, pooped inside and screwed it back. When the light bulb heated up it started giving off a terrible smell. It took everyone a few days to find a source of this stench. Nobody thought it was funny (well, maybe except for the boy who did it).

lol
my schools pretty strict with the vandalism stuff, but people still do it
some group of people spray painted a 50 ft penis on the school wall and a 30 ft one on the side walk
thats why the school got a load of security cameras and those guys got suspended/etc
theres people who brake chairs draw on walls/desk.
oh, theres one guy who killed all the fishes in my science class room, the teacher went ballistic (there was 7 large tanks of fish) yea... other than that my school is cleanish(?)/strict

If you call scribbling on desks and sticking gums vandalising that's pretty much the worst I've seen and that didn't change from school till college.

Well there was a funny incident when I was in 7-8th grade. For some reason we were moved in the chemestry lab and left there alone. Big Mistake. A boy in my class found the master water tap and he turned it on. That couldn't be called vandalism if the water pipes from every desk wouldn't have been turned up side down (well actually down side up 🙄 ) so all the water went on the celling, with a lot of pressure btw. And if some people could think of it as an accindent I'm pretty sure the second time he did this he knew exactly what was going to happen 🤣 .

And another one not that funny a guy once used a stink bomb in school. I guess he wanted to make the teachers cancel the school day, but guess what their revenge was to keep us all in that horrible stink. 😔
