Hi! I'm looking for a manga I read before where they're in the future and developed time travel, and conduct missions to fix things in the past. I think the guy was assigned to monitor some girl and realizes that she's the author of his favorite book. But the book credits mention her year of death and I think she died pretty young. So he decides to try and save her. I think he goes back in time to meet her a few times, and they both fall for each other. He gets told by his higher ups that he can't mess with the past so I think he kinda goes rogue? I think the manga ends with them not getting together, but she writes a message to him from the past.

Sorry about the vague description, I'm not sure if all the details are accurate. I started reading a manhwa called "Please Show Up!" that reminded me of this plot, so I've been trying to find it. Thank you!

Hi! Thank you for your help but I don't think this is the manga I had in mind! If I remember correctly, I don't think the girl did any time traveling. I think the guy was only able to do it since he lived in the future and used that technology for his job.
