According to Anime News Network, the author did artwork for a Call me by Your Name novel around 2018. Ever since then it seems no news about the author or manga?

Sometimes I wonder if she grew tired from drawing the manga (there were many, many couple side stories in one manga, not just Norio and Yonekunis). Not good to speculate but I do find it odd that there doesn't seem to have ever been any English news about the manga. (Or maybe there has been news but in Japanese)

Love Pistols will always be one of my BL favorites, I never get tired re-reading the manga (even though the last current volume was not my favorite). 😕
I would have loved to see at least a rushed ending and epilogue with Norio and Yonekuni 's potential child
