How is that the dense/air headed one is the genius type?

i choose the last one, since i like my characters with brains, and usually to show them off is by plotting some scheme or other. i like arrogant characters with basis, like the mc in zippy ziggy and Kyou kara Ore wa!!. the type that will kick you to the dogs to give them chance to run away.

the most hated character is the happy-go-lucky, big eater, nakama first hot head that spew off arrogant claims without anything to back them up.

I like the strong and stupid ones (like Dukchill Kim from Zippy Ziggy).

But I think it depents on the actual manga. It happens often, that I like the noisy comic relief, but in other works I hate that one the most, so...

Yeah, the scheming plotter type always make the story interesting. Too many fake 'smart' characters, we need real smart, clever, stoic and prudent type.
