"Something 18+" is a trap, there's a lot of 18+ settings that most people do not want to be reincarnated in.

I say fantasy. Not all that into magic as it tends to appear in Isekai but I would love to explore a fantasy world, especially if it has nice architecture. I like reading mystery and thrillers but would be scared to death were I a character in any of those stories.

It could also be nice to end up in a school life or mecha.

Romance - I mean, I can have romance without being in a romance story. Sounds like a waste to pick this.

Fantasy - Depends, I guess. High fantasy with a medieval or a weird mix between medieval and early modern setting? Hard pass. Lots of those stories gloss over how danger is a constant in those worlds. Not to mention lack of modern conveniences and a dire need for mechanization and automation. Contemporary? That's more tolerable.

Harem - I assume harem with a harem ending? Barely anything shows what happens during the "happily ever after" parts about these, and it's a lot of work and headaches. I'll only consider this if I'm given infinite money lol.

Action - No thanks. Don't wanna live in constant action.

Mystery - I would probably develop paranoia or worse, so no thanks.

Thriller - Same as mystery.

Adventure - Humans settled down because it's a pain in the ass to be moving around constantly. No stable income, you probably don't know what you'll be doing the next day let alone the next week, you're always distrusted for being a foreigner, constant danger on the road.

Comedy - Sounds fun, so I might be tempted depending on the setting.

Sci-fi - Prolly the best choice for me, really. No way I'm living in a place without modern conveniences. Lots of things can likely kill me more efficiently, but that's as likely albeit better than getting randomly mauled by a monster in the woods and being left on the ground with my stomach open then getting eaten alive by scavengers. If I'm gonna die, I wanna die by getting disintegrated by lasers.

School life - School sucks. High school being the best years of your life is a lie.

Gender bender - I don't mind, but depends on the setting.

Sports - Same as above.

Martial arts - Same as action.

Tragedy - No thanks, don't wanna fall into depression.

Mecha - Cool magical robots? I'm in. And since there's mechanization, there's very likely innovation so I probably wouldn't be worried too much about modern conveniences.

Something 18+ - ...As long as it's vanilla.

Comedy. I know I’ll be in utter shock after meeting truck-kun and ending up in a new world, so I could really use a laugh to take the edge off.

Probably adventure fantasy or maybe comedy

School life seems like the safest choice for me. I would not be able to survive in any type of adventure or action story. I think even romance and comedy might have the possibility of being mixed of in a life-or-death situation.

Am I gonna be the main character mmm...~?
If not, most of this are really horrible as I probably will just become a fodder for monsters and stuff mmm...

I want to choose "Something 18+" but I'm afraid of the hardcore stuff like BDSM, rape, NTR.. 😮

So I chose the "Sports" genre cause I want to be active and I want to be good in sports (cause IRL I'm terrible at any kind of sports)
Maybe if I were to be Isekaid I would gain a cheat skill 🙏🙏

I feel like some options were too general for this poll to be meaningful. I mean, "fantasy" could and usually does contain the following: harem, romance, 18+ (the number of series that have one or two panels of nudity and then go back to nothing gets exposed is nuts), action, adventure, and comedy.

Now, if the question—now that I see it—was asking what kind of isekai I would likely have regardless of what I want... probably generic fantasy with a few of the others sprinkled in.

I would love to be isekaid into fantasy genre, IF I was reincarnated into someone that has special attribute.. healer, pharmacist, magician, fortune teller, knight, etc. If I'm not then I can kiss myself goodbye from the society since I wouldn't have a career. 😂
