this might be like the most ridiculous assumption....
i have a theory that i think yachiru is actually kenpachi's astral form of his zanpakuto...

simply externalized as the possibility showed on one of the arrancar starkk where his weapon/gun is actually one of that companion that always sticks with him.... though they were actually one to begin with but then ichigo's zangetsu or renji's zabimaru....,, but the world of bleach showed you can externalize youre inner world or something which bankai and hollification makes it possible..

here are the things i point out to say yachiru is actually kenpachi's zanpakuto...
so heres my theory...

• i never seen yachiru fight at all, nor did i see her use her weapon, it just looks like a toy sword.... ive seen all other captains and leitanants fight or at least released their swords except yachiru... now i wonder why... especially when she is like has more attention in the story out of all other lietanants along with renji, kira, matsumotoand hinamori.....

• yachiru seems like one of those jokey characters thats simply there for creativity and to soothe the mood,, but then again she seems to have some huge part in kenpachi's ego... such as believing in him , and believing he will always win, and saying inspiring things like "lets get stronger together"... yet kenpachi just never really pays much attention to yachiru like shes never there,,, which there was something pointed out that, you can never become stronger as a soul reaper if you dont believe in youre zanpakuto and get to know each other's mental world,,, which the hollow ichigo pointed out, "you cant expect to become friends with youre zanpakuto just cause you know one another's names" or something... which knowing or giving yachiru's name is the only thing zaraki did..

-when in soul society arc when ichigo defeated kenpachi... right after you saw his flashback... where he massacred a bunch of bandit-like people, and u see some random baby just showing up out of nowhere,,, and somehow kenpachi just felt some kind of interesting phenominon to actually take yachiru with him, such as having "common characteristics"... such as no name, having no fear, and having no friends,,, seems more like zaraki's conscience or his inner self appearing rather then a companion that just happened to meet.... and after that,,, zaraki was simply talking to his sword, or tried to, saying "can u give me a chance, to get to know each other and become stronger?",,, yet yachiru was simply standing next to him and talking to him of wanting to become stronger together,,, yet zaraki yet still ignoring her.... it was showing her alot in that scene, somehow as she had a big part of it...

• yachiru always on zaraki's back, traveling and always the one to express their next moves, such as directions ^ ^.... but seriously.. either then actual fights,, shes always with zaraki... reminding zaraki only trust himself rather then wanting help...

• lastly cause yachiru seems to instinctly know zaraki more then anyone,,, like as if yachiru shares the same mental world as zaraki, and seem to understand zaraki more then anyone,,, yet zaraki never ever seems to talk or say anything important to yachiru,,, as if her actual strength is not important... again reminding that zaraki is ignoring her existence....

even though it seems to be comical the way zaraki and yachiru interacts, and seems more humor like,,, i dont doubt my theory,, only cause thats a practical practice in mangas... the most joking and stupid characters always turn out to be one of those serious psychologically twist turbing out characters in actuality , which they were just acting in actuality......
such as tobi from naruto, and ace from one piece..

so wat do you think about my theory...?

i think you may be right but i cant help to think from the kenpachi vs ichigo when the messenger tried to talk to yachiru you saw a face in the arua like the one ichigo has that showed up in the the fight with kenpachi so i think she has her own zanpakuto soul thing. well i have no clue

to start with, after Kenpachi and Ichigo first fought, Kenpachi said that he didn't know the name of his zanpakuto and Yoruichi did say that Zaraki was not trusted with his zanpakuto, as Ichigo later quoted when he used Zangetsu to finish him off

Secondly, Kenpachi's zanpakuto is in a constant shakai form just like Ichigo's coz of his immense spiritual pressure.

When Yachiru met up with Kenpachi, he already had his zanpakuto, and the reason she can actually stand around him is because she's got an amazing amount of reiatsu. and don't start with the whole being a prodigy, its the 11th squad, they raise in rank through power and strength, not through anything else.

Finally if she was Kenpachi's Zanpakuto, why is it that she's not affected like all the other zanpakuto?

Simple actually.
Murasame released the zanpakuto's instincts or toyed with them BUT yachiru and kenpachi were not pressent when that happend so murasame didn't have the chance to do so yet.
Furthermore i also had thoughts about yachiru being kanpachi's zanpakuto and it would make sense o.o For example kenpachi is famous for his reiatsu so his zanpakuto should have some similair trait to. And yachiru is shown in some episode to have a pinkish reiatsu aura around here when she got angry.

cmon, HOW can it have sense?

Kenpachi doesnt even know the name of the zampakutou, less has he ever spoken to it (because they said the zampakutou didnt like his reiatsu). And youre saying that Yachiru was his zampakutou in human form all along, all cheery and friendly?

Please, refrain from covering for the plotholes (or such) of the mangaka with other plotholes/delusions XD
