Hi!

I am a novice Japanese-to-English translator. I have been working on translating the manga Shizuko Is My Bride (シズコはオレのヨメ Shizuko wa Ore no Yome) by Kirioka Sana (author of the slightly better-known Taishou Otome Otogibanashi).

I have been working on it on my own for some weeks and I have 7 chapters translated. The original manga is complete; it is 12 chapters long.

I am looking for a group willing to collaborate on this project. Is anyone interested? 🙂

Shizuko is pretty obscure in the English-speaking world. I went in pretty blind, only knowing that it was by the same author as Taishou Otome which I love. If anyone wants to know more about it, the best sources of information I can link to are these articles on AniList and All the Tropes, both written by me:
