My mom walked in on me while I was examining my toes. She gave me a weird look and left. Damn.
Question: Can anyone else bend their first toe joint without curling their toes down? My friends caught me doing that once and they flipped out for some reason. none of them could do it.
Egyptian, by the way.

Never thought about it before, but after trying:
Yes, I can do that too. 😀

I kinda envy people with Egyptian feet, they can wear those pointy shoes for hours without hurting.
Both of mine are Roman.
My housemate's feet are Greek, and her toes are exceptionally long on top of that. It's so interesting to see her spread her toes apart, her feet really look like hands. And she has the best foot-writing among all of us. I know because we tried it out! I'm now encouraging her to learn to type with her feet XD

I have Egyptian feet.
Hmmm. I never knew that there were classifications for feet shape. My cousin has Greek feet and she hates it, she is so self-conscious about it (I always thought it was cool).
Bump...

First time I've heard of these classifications ^^ Mine are Roman. Exactly as pictured. Cool. This reminds of something. I had a gay professor in college who tells the most offensive jokes. He said there's two kinds of feet. A city-worker's feet and a farmers feet. Farmers feet, he said, tend to be very wide and the toes are gnarled and can lash onto the ground like a monkey which helps when they do farm work bare-footed 😔 . The way he told it made me laugh but I was still a little offended. I have wide feet(no weird toes though!) and my family from my mother's side are farmers. So I thought he was telling some half-truths and that I did inherit farmer's feet(without weird toes!!). Could still be true. Doesn't bother me much except that my shoes tend to wear off faster because of the horizontal strain from my wide feet.
