I can't seem to find a topic on Cloning, so here I am asking you guys on what you think about cloning, be it animal or humans. There have already been animals that have been cloned so what do you think about that? And what do you think about cloning humans?

I'm not against it, but I don't see why you should want to clone someone.
A clone would never come out exactly the same as the original; he or she would be completely different person, and a clone won't even look exactly like the original; look at identical twins, they may look very much alike, but they're never the same.
I do have one objection to cloning, however, as it would most probably lead to health problems in the cloned individual; since you need genetic material from an existing individual, the telomeres on the chromosomes will already have worn off a bit, which means that the clone's cells will start losing some of the important genes earlier in life, and when you lose a really important gene, you will die. So, a clone would not be very long lived because of the health problems that arise from the loss of genes.
Therefore, I wonder whether it would be fair put anyone through that; even if they're clones, they'd still be people with minds of their own.
