My cousin has a dell computer that he got from futureshop I think. Anyways one day his monitor would not turn on for him. Like he had power, but it would just go into power save mode and he checked the connectors and they were securely plugged in. I checked the motherboard and it turns out that his video is built onto the motherboard. Cause I think the video card is his problem. Any suggestions on how to fix it??

Have you tried magic?
that's what I say to people who ask me questions.
Anyway, connect it to a different monitor, if the problem persists, then it's not the monitor.

Now, to be serious I doubt the brand of computer is the cause, but i think you should take Gangsta's advice. You should also try the monitor on a different computer just in case. Oh and by the way how old is the computer? Dell usually comes with a year warantee, but you should still call Dell's support team.

Dell's....not the best brand out there.
It caused me problems, the chargers always seem to break after only a short while. TT.TT
Well, yeah, go call them.

check the monitor on another pc, first. Then if its functioning, replace the motherboard or get a new, separate, video card ^^ There are no other choices 🙂
