Hi!

I'm looking for a good seinen, josei or mature shounen where the female lead is a police officer. Having the male lead on the side of gangsters or the like is not a requirement, but tends to go hand-in-hand with this type of manga, it seems.

Also, it'd be great if there's SOME resolution or Happiness in the end for the couple.

Examples (SPOILERS!)

Psychometrer Eiji (guy is highschool delinquent, girl is hot detective. It ends with a kiss on the cheek).
Sanctuary (I liked the couple, although their relationship took an extreme backseat to the political thriller aspect)
Sun-Ken Rock (It's a bit too early to tell where the mangaka plans to go)

This is kinda an offshoot of the hot teacher genre (like UnbalancexUnbalance and Wolf Guy), since it's a lady in authority. I also enjoy those manga, if you have any suggestions.

Lastly, it'd be great if the suggested mangas are finished (scanlation status), or almost done. It sucks to go through 100+chapters in less than a night, then having to wait month per month for the next installment after you've been spoiled.

I searched through BU and ended up with a few manga's but they don't fit your request word to word. Anyway, if you're willing to make a few exceptions then these are what I thought came pretty close 😀

Rash!! (The protagonist is a prison doctor and her childhood friend is a detective BUT she is way more kickass than anyone and basically does his job for him.) 10 chapters are scanlated >:-(

Tokyo Crazy Paradise (The protagonist had parents as police officers and has a strong sense of justice + is very strong. The main male lead is the head of a yakuza 😕 family but is pretty okay regardless and often helps the protagonist.) It is shoujo and has 100+ chapters but is completely scanlated. TCP does have romance and

a happy ending.
