first off all i wanted to ask how the drama is in this manga.
mangas that have many chapters and have gone on for a long while have the advantage off getting the reader to embosom the characters easier and kind of feel with them.
best example id say naruto and one piece sometimes.
ive always avoided kekkaishi cause it didnt seem tooo interesting but now im out of mangas^^.

so again, are the drama parts in this series packing so that you will eventually get goose bumps or feel sad about it?
-
another thing is, as far as i can see the heroine in this series is that 16 year old girl
is romance developing or how about, are there other girls showing up in the series?
please dont spoil and also dont use spoiler boxes. id be thankful if you could answer my question without giving out to much.
- also are people acutally dying in the series?

Yes there are drama parts, and some did make me feel sad.

Some romance is developing but not to much, there are other girls showing up but they are either enemies or don't have any connection to the main character.

Yes there are people dying in these series.
Anything else? 😀

- mm i dont really recall there being much drama to stir me emotionally its more of a battle like shounen manga (except its a really good manga by far better then alot of other shounen battle manga, i dont have much complaints about the characters)
- Romance isnt really a main focus in the manga but when there usually is romance its usually more comedic oriented i'd say romance is a subplot i guess
- yeah people die in the manga if my memory serves me correct one of characters that the mangaka spent some significant amount of time on character development i think gets killed or sacrifices himself dont remember D=
but anyways i was really reluctant on reading this manga to but when i did it was actually a pretty good manga i actually started reading it because i ran out of stuff to read lol

- wasn't moved TOO much by the drama, but i'm not saying it's bad. compared to other shonen, this one felt and was done right at least.
2)just one other girl, if memory serves me right. not exactly the main focus, but it does develop well. little to none of that multiple girls falling for the protag, or the introduction of a MAJOR love rival. romance-wise, pretty laid back.
3)yes.

Not really dramatic because I can't recall any particular event of that sort...lol. But I know there are good scenes. Once you catch up in Kek you don't remember stuff anymore. A lot of characters.

No if you ask me, it seemed like there would be at one point, then died down. It is really subtle, and the plot does not revolve much around it. More guys show up than girls. lol.
-
Yep, but not all are dramatically portrayed.

I wouldn't say the drama is emotionally stirring for me, but it is better than some other shounen epic-fighting arcs ad hot-headed young male protagonist type manga. I guess a lot of it depends on how deeply you connect with the characters.

Not really, this I defo a male orientated series. There is the aspect of a crush, but, as others have said, it was used more for comedy value than heart-rendering romance and the action is the main driving force of this manga. Romance plays a minor, almost inconsequential, role.

Yes, people die. I mean characters whose names and personality you get to know and are not baddies are actually killed shock horror.

compare to any other action adventure fantasy shounen out there, imho, storywise this one is one of the best..

the romance is developing, but very very slowly (not standing still)... romance is not the focus of the story.... and there are other female character exist, but most of them are the side characters.

some are dying or about to sacrifice their live, some are dead/killed as the story continue, some are already a ghost filled with regret..
read the other thread if u like to know more, we sometimes talk about stuff like these.
oh and try not to compare onepiece and naruto with kekkaishi... it just doesn't feel right. example: try comparing naruto ch 450 to kekkaishi ch 121.
