MY parents celebrated Christmas by giving presents and having " Santa" give you one present, but my friend got all their presents from " Santa", so im just wondering what your parents did if anything to celebrate Christmas.

Let's see... The night before Christmas we went to the Christmas Eve service at church, after which we'd open a single present upon getting home. We'd put out Christmas cookies and a glass of milk/eggnog/Scotch? for Santa, and go to sleep. The next morning, we had to wait until 9:00 to open presents, and before we opened presents my parents would read the Nativity bible passage (Usually Luke, I believe). A few presents under the tree were labelled Santa, but most were labelled from my parents. We also had stockings, which were completely from Santa (supposedly). We usually took turns opening presents, with one person getting up and distributing a round of presents, switching who would get up each time.

We go to grandma's and eat.
And the adults give me presents (aka money) and I give the little cousins toys and clothes.

We usually open presents at midnight on the 24th so since me and my sister sometimes get video games or something else, we stay up all night and sleep on Christmas day 🤣 Sometimes my cousins come over and my mom makes a bunch of Mexican food. Now that we're older, our parents don't even try to keep our presents a secret. Christmas to us is now just a way to get together and spend time as a family with of course lots of food.
So really there's no distinct tradition as each year it changes.
Way back when I was very young, we used to set out the mince pies and stuff for "Santa" on christmas eve. Christmas day was open presents in the morning (morning meant around 10-11am though. 2 older sisters that like to sleep was the reason 🤣 ), eat, open a few more presents, eat dessert, play family games around the table, mess around with the gifts. Stuff like that.
Now however, we don't open presents 'til like 1pm, maybe later. Sometimes we eat before we open anything. Now I've become the sister that likes to sleep and I'm the youngest in my family. Christmas without any youngsters is dull. Their excitement makes it. That's why I like going over to my cousins when it's christmas. 3 youngsters in that family. Their excitement over the day is so cute. I'm going again this year.
Food also makes christmas. That's what I really look forward to now. Forget the presents, it's all about the feast 🤣

We go to uncle Jack and aunt Delores' house to have dinner, some conversations with my families and play games. Then on Christmas day, we open presents and we have dinner of our own.
I read so much mangas, I'm too lazy to watch anime! 😛 😛 😛

My family (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.) gets together and celebrates on Christmas Eve, which pretty much consists of exchanging gifts and eating. Usually, a bunch of them also go to mass at midnight. People typically go home around ~2 in the morning or sometimes earlier if they have young kids.

The sweeter the apple, the higher the branch. The quieter the fart, the nastier the smell.
GUESS WHO??
Now that I think about it, we would usually travel somewhere days before Christmas and celebrate it there. We don't really spend Christmas at home, usually it would be at a relative's house.

We don't celebrate Christmas much Q_Q Just a normal holiday...
we all go to my aunt's house and celebrate christmas there. nothing out of the ordinary, just have dinner, then we all sit down in the living room, kids on the floor, and the adults distribute the presents. Sounds normal, but its really fun! full of laughs ^.^
