Feed/water and bathe the dogs, as well as make sure they have their heartguard and flee stuff.
Feed the fish.

I think that's it. Now I said that's what I'm supposed to do - sometimes I forget and someone else does it. (I'd get so much more done if I stayed off this site.)

I live on my own but not alone, sp things like cleaning my room, washing/ ironing clothes and cooking are a must.
But since it's a shared compound we all share the chores of cleaning the kitchen etc.

p.s. reasom i replied to this poll is that i'm actually cleaning my room now since today people are coming to check the central heating systems

Not really by myself, but I'm the one here most often, so I usually just go ahead and clean. Otherwise no one else will.

Lately I've been lazy and making other help me. But that's just because my room mate's dogs make everything dirty.

If our house wasn't in a constant state of reconstruction, I don't think I'd mind cleaning it, but as it is, there are boxes piled everywhere as well as miscellanious objects. And this might sound odd, but I don't like cleaning if someone is around to witness it. Anyone else like that?

I do so much less than I'm supposed to. Honestly, I think the only thing I actually do on a semi-regular basis is to lower the living room blinds every night.

Though if you count practicing piano, I actually do a good job, then... but that really stopped being a chore several years ago when I started to finally play songs I liked.

I really do like cleaning up and whatnot... just not when it's my own stuff. Then it's boring.

eh, it's mostly a battle of endurance and willpower between us roommates, it often ends in a draw when there's no place to put dirty dishes anymore or the TV can't be watched because of the dust.

when i'm back home, it's not so much house chores as yard chores...there's always some work to be done in the orchard, chopping woods, feeding the many beasts, watering the garden and veggies, mowing the lawn, some shovel work...

it's always been like that, but sometimes i need to be reminded of my chores 🤢

I'm the maid and the cook. I cook all the meals. I clean the house top to bottom (which I really don't mind cause I actually enjoy cleaning). And that includes my room and bathroom as well as my six roomies. Do all the laundry. Which, I kind of have to even if I didn't want to because they think you can put bleach in anything. And on top of all that.... I'm their wake up call... I set out their work clothes every morning and start the shower for them.
No one has it as good as them.
Which is the reason everyone tells me that they'll never move out. 🤣

If it weren't for the gutter, my mind would be homeless.
