And do you really think that they won't get killed in the next few chapters? They MAY have another release, like Ulquiorra (Very unlikely though), but they both released when they had no reason to release seeing how they were easily winning.. Halibel will survive a bit longer because she's fighting fan "favorite" Hitsugaya, but Barragan released only because we haven't seen his release yet, and because he's gonna die soon afterwards, I guarantee that.

true his release does give a plot opening for Soi Fon to use Bankai but it doesn't necessarily mean few chapter finish at least not 3 to 4. look at Nnoitra and Syzeal those guys lasted a hell of a long time when they appeared. Syzeal especially, so Barragan has a good chance of lasting pretty long. Halibel does too, considering who she's fighting.

mmm. i liked this chapter. i think things are getting better. that who thing with all of the espadas embodying an aspect of death was pretty good. and it gives a logical explanation of their powers. although the whole thing with yammy being 0 makes no sense. i think he will die soon

But Nnoitra released in the middle of chapter 309, and he stayed alive until the end of chapter 312 (And was confirmed to be dead in chapter 313), which was 3-4 chapters later.

You're right about Syazel though, but the reason for that may be because Mayuri is one of Kubo's favorite characters, so he decided to keep him alive longer so that Mayuri could kill him (You know, with the whole Scientist vs. Scientist theme).
