ugh. Kubo is either a terrible writer or he just doesn't give a crap anymore. Honestly, it seems like he's not even trying. Just repeating the same plot over and over, and ripping off so much from other mangas, AND not even taking the time to add ANY amount of consistency to the manga.

I agree,he really needs to think up of something new. I bet he's just extending the manga to earn money. I think he should've ended it after the rescuing rukia thing..or somewhere around that. 😔

Tite just wanted to emphasize the fact that Rukia and Inoue are both love rivals and at the same time they're great pillars that support Ichigo in their own way.

Besides that, the arcs couldn't be more different. It's not like Byakuya took Inoue away, and it's not as if Ichigo trained in some cave in Hueco Mundo. You guys are just focusing yourself on one detail, and then saying, "Wow, what a ripoff!".

If you cannot see that Kubo is running out of ideas your stupid.

Byakuya takes away Rukia in the Soul arc.

Ishida is taken away by the bounts in the Bount Arc.

Ulquiorra's is takes Inoue form ichigo. Arrancar

Example 2

Ichigo Fights against his hollowself twice in the Soul Arc.

Ichigo fights against his hollowself again twice. Bount Arc

Ichigo fights Hollowself again in the Arrancar Arc twice.

Example 3.

Ichigo trains in the cave twice in the Soul Arc

In bount arc Ichigo train's in Cave with bount doll's.

Ichigo Trains in the cave for a month to become an Vizard. Arrancar Arc

Ichigo "This isn't the way I want to win!"

He said this line in all there Arc's.

The same thing happens with chad right arm.

Also, in all three arcs, I believe that at least one on the side of the "bad guys" acknowledged that they understood why Ichigo was doing what he was. Or at least realized that they could have gone about things differently.

But I may be mistaken. Either way, I think it's becoming a little redundant, yet it's still a better time killer than other things.

They may be similar, but they have different themes to them.

And like...it's only been TWO main arcs , you can't really judge the man yet IMO :\

Did Tite even have anything to do with the bount arc? I thought it was anime only.

I was thinking the same thing.
The Bount arc shouldn't even be considered in this.
I choose to believe it never happened.

Sorry Doc & Scyfon, but UMMX brings up very good points (Bount Arc included, but Kubo didn't touch that so you can't blame him for that).

And even the way Ichigo beat Ulquiorra was the same way that he beat Byakuya. I typed it up in the discussion thread for chapter 353.

Didn't the ending of this fight seem a little familiar to anyone? Ichigo's big fight to save the girl was something he couldn't possibly win even with his latest powerup, so his inner-hollow goes a bit crazy and beats up the enemy before he eventually regains control? Anyone?

Hmm, but the Byakuya fight ended with them going all out in the end. While Ulquiorra just disappeared after Ichigo reverted to his normal state.

After Soul Society Arc:

  • Introducing an external factor (Vaizards).

No external factor in Soul Society.

  • Flashback. /thread

No flashback either.

  • New "allies" emerge (the father duo).

Nope, no fathers revealing their hidden powers in SS.

  • Mentioning of the Spirit King and his Royal Squad.

The Spirit King and what? No mention of that.

  • Having a clear-cut villain (Aizen!).

Just trying to save Rukia. Two sides with differing opinions.

  • Hueco Mundo hierarchy has no order (the rule of the fittest).

Sans the 11th Division, there were indeed order and rules.

  • Ichigo & co. received external help from their former "enemy".

I'm pretty sure Ikkaku & Yumichika were against them then.

  • Showdown between two sides with a potential third (fourth?).

Last showdown were mostly Ichigo & co. and disputes within SS.

Of course, there are similarities, but I believe that's more done out of purpose. He knows what he's doing. If he didn't, then he'd have an IQ below 40. The key is how to differentiate those similarities. Sure, they are "similar", but are they 100% copypasta? I don't think so. It's not like Ulquiorra's lines were exactly the same as that of Byakuya's.

While they are both emotionless, they are so for DIFFERENT reasons! Byakuya knows what emotions are, but thinks of them as troublesome in order to correctly enforce the rules of Soul Society. Ulquiorra on the other hand genuinely has no concept of what emotions are. In fact his immense curiosity (which is the most human aspect of him) enables him to question himself and the humans he encounters (Ichigo, Inoue, ...). Inoue was a vital person for Ulquiorra's character development, while Ichigo was the catalyst for that of Byakuya's and NOT Rukia. Notice the differences? But no, you're too focused on some trivial details. .___.

In the end, it's a Shounen manga, so
just try to go with the flow, okay. 🤣

(I know, I know, Loose. Just because it's a Shounen
manga, it shouldn't be excused that easily.
😮 )

So the details I'm focused on are too trivial, despite the fact that they prove how Kubo is recycling old ideas? Of course the Hueco Mundo arc had to be different in certain things (Cause no one can be that bad at writing), but when you look at the parts of the plot that made it move along, you can see that Kubo just took old ideas and redid them while covering it with all this new stuff that doesn't really move the plot forward as much in hopes that no one notices the similarities.

But don't worry Doc. I became all mellow with Bleach because of my thread.
