I was thinking about watching it, but I have no idea if it's good or not and I don't feel like wasting my time on crap.

It looks like no one responded. It's crap. I think that should help. I haven't watched the second one, but the first one was so bad, I have reservations about watching the second one.

It wasn't the worst movie in the world, but it could've been done better. Don't expect the story to totally coincide with the manga though. It's very, very different.

As live action movies from manga/anime go, Death Note movies aren't bad.
They were enjoyable.

They did change things around to fit the time restraints and such.
Of course, Manga > Anime > Live action.
But they are worth checking out.

its one of those movies that aren't as great as they're hyped up to be, yet, at the same time, aren't as crappy to the point of being unwatchable. the problem, though trivial to some, that i have with it is that L looked too much of a pretty boy, rather than a weirdo....

I thought it was worth watching once. If you don't like live actions at all though, I might avoid it.

i thought it was good, a little rushed and practically no drama, but what can you expect in a 3 hour time limit. it's basically all the action scenes crammed together.

I liked it alot and it was very awsome at the end when L named

the kid Near It was a shock but then I guess he did save alot of ppl. I was shocked to see however L live and die many times making me feel like he died again and again every time i watched it.
