Hanging out with drunk people is funny if you're the sober one.

I'm down hanging with anybody regardless of their habits or hobbies, assuming I like them. In fact most of my friends in high school were either:

a) Underage drinkers/smokers or recreational drug users
or
b) Mormons

I still don't know how I managed it. 😐

LOL, true it can be funny seeing your friends do dumb things. That's why when some of my friends smoke up (weed) I like being there even though I've never touched the stuff or plan to. You get to make sure they don't do anything that might be harmful and you also have many many things to embarrass them with later 😀 Course they have just as many stories of when I was drunk so it all evens out.

One ttime my cousin offered my sister's boyfriend some weed because she heard he smoked and she said she would feel rude if she didn't. My sister got so pissed because he was 'trying to quit' and we were 'ruining her life'. He went out to smoke with her and she said he admitted that he'd just purchased a new bag from one of his friends the other day. It was hilarious.

Moral of the story: Don't go outside to smoke weed in front of your girlfriend unless her brother and cousin will take the fall for you.

🤣 so true. There are so many stories to tell when you're just an observer. And you know what they say about drunk people: they always tell the truth when they're wasted, makes for a good interrogation session. 😛

Let's see, I don't like the taste of alcohol and since theres a history of achoholism in my family, I've pretty much sworn it off except for Communion wine.
I'm probably physically incapable of smoking (more so than most people) because of my asthma and allergies. If I'm standing near a heavy smoker (even if they're not smoking) I start to cough.
And I'm enough (legal) drugs for medical purposes to make me squirm at the thought of having some (illegal drugs) voluntarily.
Not that I don't hang out with people who smoke, drink or (probably) do drugs. They just don't do those things at my house and don't invite me over if they know everyone is going to get high (if everyone's going to get drunk, though, they practically make me come so I can drive). If they need a smoke, they make sure that I won't get a wiff of it. My friends are so careful of me...I feel blessed.

LOL I guess this got moved to 18+ after all. Wonder if the vices will start catching up now 🙂

I'm over 18, but my answer is still None. =)
I have alcohol (usually in the form of cocktails) maybe a half dozen times a year, if that. I don't count that as falling under that category. And I've never tried tobacco or marijuana (much less anything worse than marijuana). I'm not even addicted to coffee. And I'm trying to cut back on the soda, though diet sodas taste nasty to me most of the time.

I was thinking of posting a poll/topic about whether or not people have ever blacked out while drinking, and stories about drinking. I don't want to hijack this thread if it's inappropriate here, and I don't want to create a useless thread, so do you guys think I should create a separate thread, or share here?

I think it's fine here since you're basically just asking about the results/consequences of these bad habits but it's up to the mods.

I have blacked out drinking though. Several times. Lots of fun stories from those nights too, even if I didn't know about the stories until I was told later 🤣

Everyone here is so clean, I don't think I can even talk about the things I've taken. It'd be awkward. 😐

I've probably inhaled enough spray paint to knock out most of the people here. Kind of an unavoidable side effect of making and using stencils.

As of now, I'm still the same. I haven't picked up any of those. And well, smoking as a habit is just bad. Give me one advantage it gives, and don't come with that "relieves my stress" reason, since there are way more productive ways to do that. However, you shouldn't judge people who smoke/smoked. Some have legitimate reasons. 🙁 And it's sad that they want to stop with it and realize it's a bad habit, but can't. And you should support the ones who did stop, since that needs a lot of determination. :'3

Drugs is even more worse, though I always hear how marihuana isn't really dangerous. Haven't tried it out, so... -shrug- And well, I guess alcohol is alright, as long as you don't overconsume it, and only drink it for social occasions. 😮

Nah, I've never done any of those.

I've had alcohol before, granted. But not regularly. I've never been drunk. Tipsy, but not drunk.

Never smoked, never taken drugs. I intend to keep it that way.
