Barrage Ends
ANN has confirmed that the latest chapter of Kōhei Horikoshi's Barrage (Sensei no Baruji) manga ended on Monday with a line of promotional text promising that its next chapter will feature a "stunning conclusion" to the series. The series began in in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine this past May, and was added to Viz Media's digital manga anthology Shonen Jump Alpha shortly thereafter.
Viz described the story: "The planet of Industria is in a state of chaos, and its fate lies in the hands of Astro, a good-natured boy from the slums."

Any reason to why a shounen just ended? The story could have ways to go.

Probably the sales/ratings werent that good. Its unlikely that any artist would want to end their manga in a single year of its serilization.
