Well, if there is someone to take it over, it can't be some "group", but some serious mangaka...
I hope for it, yet I know, that the manga will change it's character - and I don't like that thought.

Actually Trinity Blood first started off as a novel (correct me if im wrong)

I first heard of the original Author's death around the time the series was turned into an anime...so I'm assuming that was the time frame of his death...as to the continuation of the series, I heard that a good friend of the original author has decided to continue the series. I believe it's the guy that penned the ragnarok novels.

yeah i was wondering about that too...if they'd continue the anime series!! ahuhuh it was too good to end just like that..

and I thought it was THORES, the illustrator of the novel who died (I thought he was the writer, my mistake!!!)

then I read it on wiki that Kentaro Yasui, yup, the autor's friend and author of the Ragnarok Novels would complete the novel and the manga series...well one leads to another...for sure a second season on the anime?? hope so!

Fillers are usually horrible >.<
I hope it won't happen...the series i really good, it would be a shame to mess it up.

it might happen so he can get ahead in volumes...or they just wont make anything till he is ahead in volumes then start making it again

i saw this thread, and hoped i would find my answer, but unfortunately not. 🙁

my question is this: how does the anime/manga compare? i saw the anime and loved it. did the anime follow the manga? is it a good continuation in the manga? so on and so forth. . . 😀

the anime and the manga are both individual adaptions of the novel. therefore, they are NOT the same. the anime isn't even based on the manga. there are similar elements in both the anime and manga because they are both based on the novel, but for the most part, you should think of them as two separate things because each of them adapts the novel in its own way. events and characters change, etc etc.

in my personal opinion, the manga is better than the anime. 😳 i prefer the mangaka's portrayal of the characters and his overall storytelling more.

i'm only on volume 6 right now, but i can tell what you mean. and i still love them both! with the anime, you get all action really quick, and the humor, but not so much depth.

the manga gives a lot more depth to the characters. i can't wait to learn more about the individual AX members.

thanks blargh!
