I recently read a short story about two guys. One got a confession letter and his friend realized that he could write one and tell his feelings to the first guy. He writes the letter and goes to the meeting place but gets nervous and doesn't want to go out there. The first guy realizes he's there and calls him out by saying something like "we've been friends since we were kids, did you think I don't know your handwriting?"
