Well, California has a huge population, and so does the East Coast. There aren't that many people who live in the center of the US, to be honest. Like, on the plains and Rocky Mountains.

People should stop living in CA and move to MN. I'm lonely up here. ;_;

I live in Ply, MA. I have a lot of relatives who live in Canada though. Mostly on my dad's side.

Woah, you people are really paranoid. o.O

I don't think there's anything wrong with not wanting to share where you live. It doesn't make a person paranoid when they don't want to share personal information with people they don't really know. They just want to be safe.

There's quite a few metropolitan areas on the east coast. The east coast itself is not a metropolitan area.

Safe? From what?

Having a fear based on skepticism and feelings rather than logic means they're paranoid. How the hell is someone going to do anything to you when you say what city you're in? Some people aren't even brave enough to say what state they're from.

You've gotta be kidding me. I thought members of the anime community were smarter than this.

Very true.. If someone wants to look for you, they'll have their ways. Just because we give out our city doesn't mean we'll be found, and just because we don't give out anything doesn't mean we won't be found.

I agree It's not like your going to tell your phone number and address specifically. And There are probably more than one person in your town where you live, so it will be hard to find who you are. 🙂

Unless, of course, you live in those small towns where the population is like 100. But in those cases, people wouldn't even know where that town is.

Sometimes, I think Americans wouldn't know about the OC if not for the show... Not that I live there anyways. LA county ftw.
