actually, russia is very strange. western russia is considered a part of europe, but the rest of it is more asia.

that's why i like the term eurasia. it's all one big continent anyways..

Going by that map, it appears closer to Asia than Europe.

I personally don't consider it Asian though. I don't really consider Israel an Asian country either, but I go by what the maps tell me. :S

I do this often, but I know I shouldn't. I always think that Asian is only the SE Asian people, ie Chinese, Korean Japanese. But Asian also includes the Middle East, India, and the islands ie Indonesia.

But... Yeah, I make that fatal mistake too. What can I say? I'm human.

Well they are called south asians, and we are called asians.
Our specific race would be oriental tho.

I know I'm bad at geography, but China, Korea, and Japan aren't in SE Asia, they're E Asia. Indonesia on the other hand is in SE. I think you got confused a little there.

I'm guilty of that too, I always forget ME.

I think I made the mistake b/c in Hong Kong, which is also a part of SE Asia, we call ourselves southeastern Asians.

Rockville, MD. Interestingly, 55% of the traffic to this site comes from outside the US.

Well, the US is a lot less than 55% of the world...

Giving your city is more risky than giving your state. States are bigger than cities. As for me, I live in a town, so I refuse to give that out. There's only one person in the whole town who likes anime and plays the flute a lot, which I think that most of you have assumed based on my avatar... so... yeah. And the population in town is actually 17,000 - it's not a big town, but still relatively small.

17k? That's about how much mine is.

Did you not see my rants about paranoia? Christ, if someone could stalk/swindle you based solely on your town...Hell, they'd deserve the sex/money they'd get. It doesn't work that way in the real world though. And swindlers make more money stealing from businesses and upper-middle class/upper class people than average bums like you and me.

I live in Brazil, not the best place in the world to live but you get used to it, and saying the name of the city I live is kind of pointless, you will hardly find something about there, it's a small city.
But here I am representing the Brazil

I live in quite the normal town, I mean everything about it is normal including the name. Not too hard to figure that one out, but then again I couldn't come up with anything witty to type saying where I live. Plus if someone from this site really wanted to know where I lived they could just go to frappr and look me up.

Anyway it happens to be in Illinois so put the name with the state and that's where I live. The name of the town is Normal (I thought that I was being obvious).
